El Ciclo Barcelona is a charming, family-operated bike rental and concept store located in a historic building in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. Founded by bike artisan Ramiro Sobral and city-lover Annebeth Vis, the shop offers quality German city bikes (Kalkhoff and Bergamont), comfortable e-bikes, children’s models, bakfiets cargo bikes, and unique bamboo bike tour experiences.

Each rental includes a helmet, sturdy lock, free basket or child seat, and flexible rental periods—the city bike starts at €7 for 2 hours up to €16 for 24 hours; e-bikes from €14 (2 h) to €25 (8–10 h). A €50 deposit per bike or €150 per booking ensures security. El Ciclo’s small-scale operation focuses on personalized service: local guides offer private city and bamboo bike tours (from €36 for 3 h), revealing both iconic landmarks and hidden gems off the beaten path.

Beyond rentals and tours, El Ciclo is also a creative hub—Ramiro’s bike-based art, including lamps and sculptures crafted from reclaimed bicycle parts, adorns the shop. The store doubles as a bike workshop and second-hand sales point, with restored bikes starting at €70 and child models from €40, complete with a two-month warranty.
