In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), we inform you that the personal data you provide as a provider when registering and using the TravelAndRent platform will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

When you register and manage your provider account on the platform, we may collect the following data:

  • Name and surname

  • Business postal address
  • Company website
  • Social media links
  • Photos of your rental location or staff (if provided)
  • Product details, prices, and images
  • IP address and usage data (via cookies such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager)

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We process your personal and business data for the following purposes:

  • To create and display your provider profile and rental products on TravelAndRent
  • To enable Customers to send booking requests to you
  • To manage your provider account and allow you to edit your listings
  • To send you platform-related updates, statistics, or legal notices
  • To send you commercial communications, newsletters, and opportunities from TravelAndRent or related products (e.g. PulsoRent, PulsoFlow…)
  • To contact you by phone or WhatsApp if necessary to verify your information or assist you in improving your visibility on the platform
  • To perform internal statistics and performance tracking of your activity

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Your data is processed on the following legal grounds:

  • Consent: accepted via checkbox during registration
  • Legitimate interest: to improve our services, operate the platform, and inform you about relevant products
  • Potential contractual obligation: if in the future, a commercial relationship is established (e.g., payment or invoicing)

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Your data may be processed through trusted service providers for platform operation and analytics, such as:

  • DigitalOcean (hosting infrastructure)
  • Google Analytics / Tag Manager (usage tracking)
  • Woodpecker (email communications)
  • Metabase (internal performance reporting)

These services act as data processors and comply with applicable privacy regulations.

6. Data Retention Period

  • Your data will be stored as long as your provider account remains active.
  • If you request deletion of your profile, we will deactivate and remove your data unless retention is required for legal or administrative reasons.
  • We may retain anonymized statistical data for analytical purposes.

7. Access, Editing, and Deletion

  • You can edit your product listings, photos, and account information at any time through your provider dashboard.
  • Complete profile deletion is not automatic. To permanently delete your account and associated data, please send a request to [email protected].
  • We will handle the request and confirm when the account has been deactivated and removed.

8. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • Only authorized platform administrators have access to provider data
  • Data is hosted on secure servers with limited access (DigitalOcean)
  • Future implementations may include additional protection measures such as two-factor authentication

9. Communications and Updates

You may receive communications by email or through your provider dashboard, including:

  • Legal or privacy updates
  • Platform feature changes
  • Notifications about your visibility or performance
  • Commercial opportunities related to TravelAndRent or partner products

10. Your Rights

As a data subject, you may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Request deletion
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw your consent

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Provider Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page and, when relevant, communicated to you via email or through your provider dashboard.

In order to continue using the platform, you may be required to explicitly accept the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the new version, you may lose access to your account and your listings may be removed from the platform.
